Navman Newsletter

Navman stays close to international customer base through monthly newsletter.

London, June 2007: Satellite navigation pioneer Navman has announced that the company will be strengthening communications with its European customers through Navman News, a new electronic monthly newsletter. Created as a response to a recent survey of 50,000 Navman users, Navman News will not only keep customers up to date with the latest news from the company, but will also give them a voice as part of a customer reviews section. Going out to an international database of 370,000 people, the newsletter will build on the solid relationship between company and users on which Navman prides itself.

At the beginning of every month, Navman News will be emailed to Navman customers – available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, the newsletter will feature content highlighted and requested by users themselves. As well as news features, customers will be informed of any special offers available to them, while a ‘Did You Know’ section will in - each issue - provide them with useful and interesting facts about GPS. Another regular feature will be a NavPix of the month, giving customers all the details they need – information about the location itself, as well as exact geographical details – to visit a fascinating city in Europe. Finally, the ‘customer reviews’ will give users the opportunity to provide Navman with valuable feedback.

‘We are proud of our strong relationship with our customers,’ says Colin Holloway at Navman Europe. ‘And Navman News is a way of building on this. We think it’s vital to keep our users up to date in an informative and entertaining way, and even more important to open up a two-way communication by encouraging customer feedback. We are constantly striving to make sure we are up to date with how our users feel about our product range and what they want for the future, and we will use this information to stay one step ahead of the competition.’

Colin Holloway is available for comment. To arrange an interview, please contact Kate Baxter, Leonie Martin or Jane Leah (see details below).
