And that means our maps are regularly updated to reflect changes in road systems – and to include more detail.
Most up-to-date maps
Our latest S-Series products have the most up-to-date Navman maps available, using the very latest mapping information from Tele Atlas.
That information helps us to create our most accurate maps yet with 100% street network coverage for all major European countries. This is coupled with extensive house number information and well in excess of 2,000,000 European points of interest (POIs).
iUpData – because changes happen
The underlying map data used on Navman sat nav devices is constantly being updated and revised. On average some 10%-15% of a nations roads change each year with new roads appearing regularly.
As well as Tele Atlas’s own data gathering and testing we do our own formatting and testing before new maps appear, to ensure they are accurate and both look and work well on our products. Inevitably this means some time can pass before new roads and changes appear on our maps.
Navman’s iUpData service allows motorists to enter details of any inaccuracies they come across into the iUpData database helping us deliver the most up-to-date maps available.
