Schoolzones
To alter the distance at which you receive School Zone alerts:
1. Connect your Navman Platinum device to your computer
2. Select the device drive > Program Files > Navman > SmartST_CE > UserData > poialerts.xml
3. If using default Internet Explorer, select Page > Edit with Microsoft Office Word
4. Scroll down to <id>110</id>, change distance from 500 to 200 and click save. A warning may pop-up, click continue
5. Your device will now alert you 200 metres before a School Zone instead of the default 500m, minimising alerts outside of School areas.
